Coupe giving me pain.

My Coupe is being a bit of a pain.The last time i ran her everything was fine.That was a week ago.Im having trouble getting a constant spark to the plugs.Nothing since she ran right has been changed.My gut feeling it could be the cap or rotor.

I think you may get more responses about your problem if you give a bit more info,especially the vehicle's year and engine.

Itermitten spark followed shortly by total lack of same tells me the coil pickup has given up. It is located below the rotor cap, look at the two wires running to it from the distributor body and see if they are bare or broken. If you keep running the car when they are bare, it can also pop the ignition module causing the same problem, no spark
