W/the rear suspension & brakes out I started to purge
the rear lines where the new rubber hoses will connect.
L.R.: some rusty fluid, R.R.: little fluid, rust chunks.
Anyone done a full line replacement ? How much dough ?
What's w/that splitter on the firewall w/a wire lead ?
Looks like it has a 17MM bolt on the side. Is that hiding
a screen that can be cleaned ? Finally which fluid bottle
in the front trunk serves what ? Thanks all !

When I saw your post, my first thoughts before even reading it was, replace all the steel lines and dump the power boosting stuff, make sure you put an adjustable compensator in, preferably at easy reach from the driver seat while driving. Those lines are 31 years old!

That's NOT really a splitter, David. That's a circuit failure indicator. It's what turns on the "BRAKE" indicator on your dash if one of the circuits fails.

The right side bottle supplies the front, the left side supplies the rear.
