I have just finished my dual 40 DCNF installation. When i realized that i had a bad mixture needle i began calling around for replacement. It seems no one has heard of this model carb. Both are listed as 40 DCNF 99 250 3m. Anyone have experience or knowledge of this model carb? Thanks Dan

Try looking for some Weber carb places in the UK. I found a place a few years ago that could supply jets and all sorts of goodies but I cannot lay my hands on their name or address at the moment. If I find the details over the holiday I'll let you know.

In the meantime try contacting Andrew at

or Guy Croft at

Try this fellow at the "Carburettor Hospital, Ltd." I bought my 40 DCNFs from him.
