I put a pump in my '82 LBZ awhile back, engine in place.
Noticed the new impeller head was triangular instead of round
so the belt pulley can be installed. So I thought same would
work w/the Scorp's pump:new Scorp's pump was triangular too .
Had to saw thru the old pumps impeller shaft to get it out. New
pump went in fine. Well there's no clearance for the belt pulley
even w/the new pumps triangular impeller shaft head.
It's right up against the inner fenderwell. Any tricks short of
lowering the engine which I think I'm incapable of doing .
