Hi, it looks like my quest for a spoiler for my HPE VX has hit a bit of a dead end. but, a new and hopefully not altogether bad plan has come to me.
I remember some HPEs had a stainless steel strip across the base of the tailgate denoting the model. Im thinking that ive seen companies that laser etch designs onto metal cheaply. Im thinking that something in the factory style but including the volumex text where its said 2000IE on the ones it could end up looking pretty good, in the factory style but without having to worry about unobtanium spoilers that go squishy after a couple of years use anyway.
So... if anyone out there has a HPE with one of these strips, can they please upload a photo of it, and if you are feeling particularly generous take some measurements.

p.s. for those following the project, the car is still at the paint shop at the moment. fingers crossed!
