Fiat 131 manifold

Just to check...

Would a manifold for twin sidedraught carbs from a 131 Abarth fit on the 2litre coupe engine?

I thought that it would be ok as long as the sweep for the distributor was there?

I'm having a knocked confidence moment!!!

The manifold is designed for the 131, engine straight up and down. The Beta motor is tilted back at a 22 degree angle, and even if you added a 22 degree canting plate under the carbs they might end up too high for the hood.

your best bet is probably to section a 22 degree wedge out of the bottom of the 131 manifold and close and weld it up, if you must use a 131 manifold.
