Right... I'll start from the beginning.....

It all started because the adjustment knob on the clock in my Fulvia 3 wasn't connected to everything. I decided that the best way to tune it would eb to disconnect the power and plug back in when it was the right time.

That would probably have worked had I not decided to plug back in with the engine running (I know... these brain extraction moments happen now and again!!!). I heard a hiss and then a bang and thought 'oh b*@"?er!' >:(

So the upshot of this is that the interior lights don't work with the doors, the clock obviously as well as the horns. So at the moment i'm quite annoyed!!!

I looked at the wiring diagram but couldn't make any sense of why these things would have gone together as they don't seem to be connected...

Is there anything that springs to mind that would have the effect I described, or could it be more than one thing??

I'm p***ed off and can't deal with chasing wires!!!!

Thanks in advance

For what its worth; electrics are a real PITA, you need to sit down with a diagram and a highlighter pen and trace out each circuit. Get a good multimeter that can check for continuity and then work back along the wires. Use the continuity to check for ground back to the chassis, I suspect you have shorted out a live feed that supplies the relevent circuit. Let me know if you have not got a diagram.
