LEAST CONVINCING Testarossa "Look Alike"

This one cracked me up! This abortion started out as a Renault Alpine, about as far removed from a Testarossa as possible, with maybe the exceptions of a Beetle or FIAT 500.

Anyway, somebody evidently put a whole lot of work into it to create this . er...stunning (...ly ugly) horror show of automotive styling. The Barney-the-Dinosaur Purple color is a nice touch, as are the Scuderia Ferrari emblems. I wonder if the creator intended it NOT to be taken as a joke, or whether his intent was to trundle it off to auto shows to see if he could make any of the other participants shit their pants laughing? I'm guessing it's probably pretty effective at the latter!

Wow. That's just... wow. So Will, pray tell, how did you happen to find this, um... marvel? C'mon, 'fess up! :D

I actually always rather liked the (unmodified original) Alpine A310, GTA and A610, was kinda disappointed when Renault left the US market and took their plans for a US-spec Alpine GTA with them (apparently the later A610's popup headlights were originally designed for US DOT lighting compliance?). :-\
