Greetings,
One of my next little projects is to repair a crack in the lower front valance on an Alfa 164LS. This crack is right near where the driver's side front fog lamp mounts in the lower spoiler as it got hit at one time. The crack is one clean break and is restricted to the very lower portion of the spoiler. There is rear "shelf" and a lip so it can be repaired in inconspicuous manner. My question is what products (brand name and easily obtained) and adhesives are good to use in making an fix like this. In addition to chemical adhesives I am also thinking of using rivets and an extra inserted piece behind the lip to make a good mechanical repair. If I get a chance I will post some picks. Thanks in advance!
