Greetings from Alabama.

I have a 2.5 that I want to rebuild. Can you give me gasket and parts sources ??

Thanks, Dave Perry

Andrew at Omicron in the UK is on this forum and would probably be the guy to talk to. I don't know anything about these older 2.5L V6's except the Flaminia and Aurelia are nearly the same displacement but the one with the larger displacement also has a larger BORE so you need to make sure you aren't getting Aurelia gaskets. Good luck.

Aurelia and Flaminia engines are completely different and share little apart from oil filter and some fasteners. We have gaskets in stock and I've just replied to your email.

Its important to retorque the cylinder heads and to make sure the cylinder liner protrusion is OK.

Protect the distributor cap at all costs, they are super scarce and extremely expensive.

Call Mike Kristick, my brother, in PA 717-292-2962. I am sure he can obtain a gasket set and other Flaminia parts. I am finishing the restoration of a 1960 PF Coupe - fantastic cars. Looking for a source for "pininfarina" script (2 stud attachment) for PF coupe.

You might want to try Black Bart's for the pf script that you are looking for:

I've wondered if it's getting to the point where having a run of distributor caps cast and/or machined is economically feasible.

Cavalitto in Italy had Aurelia caps remade - I heard something about $20k in setting up the overall casting and production run. But maybe those caps can (with some shifting of the mounting points) be used on Flaminias.

Again, Mike Kristick is your man.

The last time I asked him, he didn't have any distributor caps.
