After 21 years we are selling our much-loved '77 Scorpion. I have a couple of interested potential buyers from the USA- we live in BC, Canada. The previous owner told me the car was from California originally and the plates on the door frame seem to confirm this (one for US safety standards and one for EPA/catalyst.)
Anyone know how easy/difficult is it to import the car to the US? Or where I can find out more info? Is it possible to check original US title with the VIN?
Any help is much appreciated.

generally speaking, there are no restrictions on importing a vehicle at least 25 years old--no matter what its original place of registration.

some useful info here:
