A friend of mine has a UK lancia delta 16v integrale, and the speedometer is in mph, does this mean the odometer is in miles or was it just kept to kilometers? ???

Doh!

I should read the whole message. I missed the part about it being an Integrale. Could be the case with KM on the odo.

Interesting piece of trivia because AFAIK, there was really never any such thing as a "UK supplied" 'grale. I've always been told they were all special imports. That could be wrong, though.

I think I may have inadvertently deleted rosso's response to this post. My apologies.

Please repost and I promise not to do it again. ::)

integrales were built to UK specification - having correct dip headlamps and speedometers that work totally in miles. However a car that is almost 20 years old probably has been "enhanced" during that time. There must be a way of telling what market the car was built for though - what is the VIN ?

Then why weren't they built RHD, Leo? More curious now.

Found out the odometer is in kilometers, while the speedo is in mph.

Could be wrong but I assume it was because Fiat weren't that bothered about going to the expense of engineering a conversion to RHD for a homologation special that they could already sell as many of as they were able or inclined to make. They didn't bother to convert the Barchetta either.
