User Locations

Hi DJ,

I'm not sure if it's my personal settings or the forum configuration but each user's location seems to have disappeared from the message threads. Given that we have an international community on the forum, I found that a really useful feature at times. Is there any way that I/we can get it back please?

I suspect the missing country flags (not to mention our "wrenches/spanners" for postcount rankings) are prolly related to the Gallery being down.

In the meantime, I recommend everyone follow my lead:
I've updated my User Profile to show my location below my handle and my Lancia model below my avatar pic. Go to your Personal CP link (or just click here (http://lancisti.net/forum/index.php?action=profile;sa=forumProfile)), then type your Lancia model where it says Personal Text (below your avatar pic), and type your Location where it says Custom Title (above your signature box). Then click the Change Profile button at the bottom to update. ;) Perhaps when DJ gets back to tinkering with the forum again, he can alter the legends on those fields to read something like "Your Lancia(s)" and "Location", respectively. 8)

Excellent suggestion, many thanks. I looked at those fields a few times last night and wondered what they did. I guess I should just have shoved some dummy text in there to test it.

Didn't take you long to spot my modified avatar Will ;). Thought I'd give it a try in place of the country flags.
