Hi all
I'm going to need insurance on the Beta pretty soon. Who do those of you in the UK reccomend? I've got a quote from AON with the LMC number, but I'd like to try a few others...

I pay about £400 tpft with direct line with 10k mileage allowance, sdp & commuting. Im 22 - no classic insurance for me :(, 4 years ncb, 1 accident that is down as my fault. I say that because I maintain it was at worst a no fault, otherwise them. And thats for my vx hpe with clifford concept 100 alarm on it.

Incidentally, anyone know how to permanently turn off the acknowledgement chirps on the concept 100? I switched them on to find out if i wanted them, decided I didnt then found id lost the sodding manual and didnt know how to deactivate them.

My insurance on the VX coupe (no doubt helped by living in rural Aberdeenshire :wink: ) cost me £260 fully comprehensive for me and the wife.... I'm pretty sure the policy was underwritten by Sun Alliance or someone like that - I lost count of the companies I've used!
Elephant came up with a really good price but require payment in one go - something I couldn't afford to do. Have to say that the least competitive quote I got was via the LMC sponsored AON..... enough said :?

In fairness to aon thay just quoted me £178 fully comp on my beta vx!
I thought that was quite resonable! ltd mile's though :(
