Montecarlo S2 Spider roof blade

Hello,
5 days after getting my Montecarlo the roof burst open and the stainless steel blade at the leading edge vanished. Can anyone help?
1 - a replacement blade
2 - a photograph of the leading edge of the roof

Whilst I am at it I also want a Montecarlo filler cap.

How did you get on with your request? Did anyone answer you direct? I can take pictures of my roof - as long as the series 1 and two are the same. As far as getting hold of a new strip is concenred, I did send a diagram and details of dimensions to Chad. He may be able to help you.

Did the loss of your strip damage the hood? IF so, Chad does new ones, which brings me onto my request. Can anyone out there either post up or send me a closeup of the roof strip please? I need to see which way the inner strip goes before I glue and rivet mine up.

Hello Darren and Paul,
Thanks for your replies. I got a blade thing from Mr Montecarlo-Scotland (Greg Vettraino). With my usual bad timing I had the incident when Greg had just gone away to climb Mont Blanc.

The roof was not damaged but as the blade bit flew away to live its life on the Edinburgh By-Pass it dented and scraped the engine cover (now fixed).

I took photographs before fitting, can e-mail them if anyone wants.

Would like to see any pictures you have of the hood in general - I'm about to rebuild mine with a new cover and any reference shots would help!!
