Hello!

I've got a new problem with my 2.0IE Coupe. It doesn't want to start when the engine is hot (Mainly when it hot). When I start it in the mornig, it's OK, but later the engine doesn't want to run, when I start it with the ignition key. But! when we tow it (with hand, or with an other car) it starts to run quite easily.
I've changed the plugs, but it didn't help. By the way I changed them after trying to start it with the ignition key, and the plugs seemed to be quite dry.
I had some fuel problem (it's leaked after the pump) but I think I've solved it.
When we able to start it, it's run well, nothing strange - fast and powerfull.
A months ago I had similar problem, but that time it never started only after a hard try and then only 3 cylinders were run for a wile, and I think I solved it with some injektor cleaner.
What do you think?
About a month ago we have changed the fuel filert ad some fuel pipes, and we remove the tank - but after that I used some injektor cleaner, because I thought some dirt could get in the system.

Injector cleaner as added to fuel is not so good. You would probably do well to get the injectors ultrasonically cleaned, or you can try soaking them in paraffin. Of course, check their spray pattern before hand by removing them and spraying them into a jar. It should be a nice even spray pattern.

Hi!

Fortunately it was an electric problem but thanks the cleaning advice.
I think my problem is quite interesting to check your car. The problem: there wasn't (or just a little) spark on the plugs. I measured the power at the transformer and it was only 7-8 Volts.
And the cause: there is a power loss at the ignition switch. Propably it burned in where its switch the 12V.
(At the end there was not only a power loss, but it didn't switch anything.)
