When cold using 15W/50 oil my oil pressure is indicated at 7-8 Bar, hot reads 1-2 bar at idle 4 bar at speed.

Is there a bypass valve in the oil filter or pump that could be stuck or is that pressure normal when cold ?

Hopefully its normal, my 8V acts the same way.

Just after posting I remembered the FAQ section on Delphi.

It looks like it is normal
