Looking to buy a Flavia Sport Zagato

Does anyone have any hints/tips on buying a Flavia Sport or of one for sale? I am looking for a decent runner not concourse but not too rusty, mechanical issues are not a worry but bodywork/structure is.

A reputable Alfa Romeo specialist in Edinburgh has one for sale. It is red and not visibly rusty.

I took the photo in May 2005 at St. Andrews. Dealer is based in Edinburgh. I didn't examine it closely but some people thought that the silver bits were hiding corrosion.

Flavia Sports are often quite poor - aluminium body can hide horrors, and bubbling indicates electrolytic corrossion between aluminium clothes and the steel skeleton.

We have a very very nice Sport, extensive Omicron restoration and won various LMC awards - Best Zagato etc.,

We also have the Autocar road test car here for sale, but this needs everything doing to it.

We have another car in storage which is for sale, belongs to someone who has emigrated. This needs money spending on it but not a total restoration.

I thought I give this post a bump. Also looking for a Flavia Sport or Appia GTE.

I have just found this forum and think it is fantastic to have one for Lancias. Thanks for whoever put it up! I am glad it is here.
