Fuse block cover?

All my fuses are just hanging out in the open air. Looks kinda scary to me. Is there supposed to be a cover?

Yes, they range from shards of polycarbonate (?) barely held together with tape, to the exceptionally rare, uncracked original cover. I have 2, one, held together with masking tape, whose colour ranges from translucent to black where it has melted and almost caught fire - the other only has about 4 cracks averaging about 40 mm long.

Well, I guess at least they are out there in the open where the engine heat will keep them dry. ;)
