Wheel Paint?

Any suggestions for paint to respray the stock alloys on my coupe? They are presently painted a dark metallic grey which in addition to being incorrect is just plain ugly.

I am thinking that the Wurth Silver BMW paint is probably about the right color, but it is hard for me to tell because the previous owner repainted all 5 wheels so I don't even have a sample color from the spare.

That looks great! Of course now I want wheels like yours, too. I saw a set of those on Ebay UK a while back (actually I was looking for rims for my 124 and ended up with iron crosses) but decided the shipping would be way too much.

Is the offset on them about the same as stock?

I originally bought the wheels for my 124 Spider. But then I got a Beta and it needed tires first. It also could stand a wheel refinishing. Since I had these wheels ready to go, I decided to get tires mounted and fit them to the Beta. It looks delish!

I've since sold the Spider, so the wheels will be staying on the Beta. I did loosely mount them on the Spider and it would've required some massive wheel spacers. Probably about 15mm front and 10mm rear.

I believe stock Beta wheels have an offset of 38mm. These wheels have 45mm if I recall. So they fit fine on the front, but required a spacer on the rear for my 205/60/14 tires to clear the strut tubes. For some reason, my Beta didn't have a spacer on the rear stock, so I added one and all was well.
