Hi All,
I have problem with my turn signal (indicator) lamp on the instrument cluster. When ever use the turn signal lamps, either left or right, the Instrument Cluster green arrow lamp illuminates once then stays off but the front and rear indicator bulbs continue to work fine. Other times (rarely) it works OK
Any ideas ???

This is purely a guess, but maybe dirty tracks or a bad earth?? Have you lupped the pod out and had a looksee?
Hope this shot in the dark helps!

Hi Darren,
I have had the IC in a thousand bits. All other systems on the IC are fine and it runs off (I think) only 1 ro 2 earth points.
I am suspecting connections to the flasher relay but was hoping someone else may have come accross this
Kind Regards,

You never know, someone may well post up with a cure, but you could check your connections in the meantime - and make sure you have a good earth - amazing what problems can be caused by dodgy earth!;o)
Hope you get it sorted mate
Cheers

I have this EXACT same problem.... Please let me know how you fix it... I have not taken the cluster off yet, but I don't think its a ground, otherwise the other lights would be flakey as well..

I think I have found the probem.
After studying the wiring diagram I have isolated the common parts betwen the hazard system (which has always been fine) and the indicators. The only separate item in the circuit is the indiactor turn stalk. So I placed two fully charged batteries on the car - in parallel - and kept cycling the turn stalk. Eventually the lamp started to work on both the left and right turn sygnal. Note that origionaaly the problem only occured on one side
So I am now I quite confident the cause is a contact problem in the indicator stalk. I would suggest you keep using the indicaors and it will sort it self out.

Very interesting....
Well if the heat drops below 95 tonight, ill move my Scorpion and try to work on it for a couple of hours. I was thinking about taking the column apart and spraying it with contact cleaner anyway. Mine was full of dead bugs when I first got the car and has never really worked properly.
Thanks for the update,
Ed
