I have a throttle cable that is starting to fray and I have looked at changing it 2 times and cannot see any way to do it short of removing the console surrounding the A/C or the dash. Any tips??r

I finally figured it out. I had to pull the part of the consul under the AC unit for the installation of some instruments so I had a little better access to it. You need to remove the nylon pedal pivot mounting bracket and return spring. This drops the pedal down enough to remove tyhe clip and cable end. Now I won't have to carry one as a spare.
