okay, I have re-balanced the wheels, had the alignment, and the steerring wheel still shimmies at around 70, so I guess the next step is to replace all the shocks. Who is the best US source?

Thanks!

IAP or Vick's for struts but it's still a crap shoot, they have them off and on so if they are out of stok, may take a few months. I am about to install four Konis on mine after we close on this house, will have decent used ones if you want them as I'll have no use for them anymore, my car rides good, stable and no shakes at present with the old stock ones in it now, haven't looked at them to see if they are leaking though, will have to do that before I can promise them to anyone, don't want to even give away junk! ;D.
However, please, please check the rims! I have had a BUNCH! of bent Beta rims, it doesn't take much to make one just enough out of round or true to make the car shake especially at higher speds. It has always traced back to the rim being out of true if it wasn't the tires being cupped for me and never anything actualy wrong woith the suspension.

Thanks Jim!

Congrats on the new house
the front tires are cupped, was ont really sure if it was alignment or not
the alignment helped a lot, but still not 100%
