It's amazing what a decent set of stock rims to replace some corroded ones do! ;D

New Set.
Also did not realise that the later rims had wider and lower profile rubber as the stock tyres on my Dad's were the skinnier ones.

I had a look at the Beta book I have and the earlier models came with higher profile rubber/skinnier tyres and the later ones had lower profile/wider tyres. Guess it was part of the upgrade in the series.
My Dad use to get Pirellis and always said they were pretty good tyres. He just bought some cheapo on the old rims (Toyo) so that we can import the car without Customs picking on any grit in the grooves of the tyres. Technology has changed a bit since the early 80s and everyyear some manufacturer brings out an awesome tyre. All I remember was Yokohama use to be one of the the best in the business.
Was thinking she needs to be lowered once everything is done, 30mm? I was thinking like 2 inches to at least ill up the gap in the arches. Whats the diff if I went to say Peddars to get springs? By the time I get Betaboys one from UK and add shipping, it aint gonna be cheap.
Any pics of yours Renay?? ;D I wanna see your rims.

I lowed my coupe 1 inch and it hit the bumb stops at the front running over anything bigger than dental floss, I had to trim an inch off, so 2 inches will need a bit more trimming, just a heads up.
