???does any one know of a suitable replacement fuel pump for a lancia scorpion i can start the car pouring petrol into the carb but no fuel is getting throught the pipes think it must be the fuel pump does any one know an alternative that will fit

Chad at Montehospital sells a couple of fuels pumps that should would fine for you. However, make sure it's not the oil pressure thingy. Scorpions have an oil pressure sensor wired into the fuel pump circuit. This makes sure that the fuel pump gets turned off if the engine stops or loses oil pressure, as in a crash.

You should be able to see this in the Scorpion wiring diagram in the downloads area.

could there be a blockage in the pipework?

If is a S1 then try disconnecting the outlet pipe from carb and putting it into a bottle or suitable container and you can test the flow rate...

Otherwise there are a number of electric fuel pumps to replace it with, we can help.

???not sure what it is there was ahole in one of the pipes replaced this no joy took the fuel pump out and removed the top seems to be a coil in the top no evidence of any damage no smell of burning ect so it is not burnt out no fuel is on either side of the pump totaly dry someone has said there is a sensor on the engine that can turn it of do not know what one this is the car has not been in a crash so this should not be turned off if i can not get it working i will need to get a fuel pump for the vehicle how much are they and are they in stock

Can someone shed some light on the oil-pressure fuelpump setup from the Scorpion?

I'm building an electric pump in my S2 and want a safety device in it.

Some piccies would be nice since i'm an dummy on electrics ...

:)i have a lancia scorpion and will be willing to take pictures of it i am also a dummy when it comes to engines and wiring but i can take any pictures you want
