Ooh is this out yet? Our voucher copy hasn't arrived.
The group feature was shot here as we provided Octane with the Flaminia, Aurelia, Fulvia and Stratos, and the Lambda joined us for a days filming.

usual old stuff really and they make the usual mistake of assuming the gamma was derived from the flavia when in reality it is completely different indicates that at least that part of the articles was constructed with out real thought and research. Not very deep and pictures frankly not as good as many in the lancisti galleries

The main article was by Ian Fraser who normally researches his articles reasonably well. The "lesser spotted Lancias" may have his name attached but the wording style is different to the main article. Fraser has Lancias himself, including an Aurelia Spider so is a Lancisti through and through.
We didn't get any notice that they wanted a Flaminia until the day of the shoot, so there wasn't any time to get that ready. The photo of the Flaminia being driven has been faked - the camera was attached to a suction cup in the middle of the car, and the car was pushed slowly on a gently curve, with the camera on a long exposure to give an impression of motion blur. All looks convincing and all this actually happened... However, they've gone a little further using Photoshop or something on the computer and rotated the rev counter needle from zero (car has no battery in it) to around 5000rpm. However, it takes someone familiar with the Flaminia to notice that there aren't any ignition keys in the dashboard mounted igntion lock!
