Does anybody have the circuit diagram for the beta elecrics with the electronic ignition? All of the ones in my manual are the points type.
Thanks. Jeremy.

I am working to get the downloads area rebuilt after the site upgrade. I believe I have what you need but it may be a few days before I can find it.

Will either of these documents help (see attachments)? They both have some amount of circuit digrams in them.

Thanks dj. I read thru the first one, but it wasn't much help. The second one was on the air conditioning. Do you have a diagram of the entire electrics for the beta 2000, australian/european models with the electronic ignition? All of my diagrams in the service manual are of the points type.
Thanks again.
Jeremy.

I've got the Haynes workshop manual, but I'm not sure if it's any use as I can't seem to see anything regarding electronic ignition. :-\

You are talking about Marelli Digiplex 1 ignition (2000 ie) or BOSCH TSZ ignition of 2000 carb?

Thanks Sim, yeah I have the haynes too. As far as I can see there is no reference to the module. And dmitry, I have the bosche unit. Thanks. Jeremy.

Sorry but I don't know much about the non-US models. Is this a block-mounted dizzy or a cam-mounted one?

Jeremy, U may have to take a pic and post it up for other overseas members to take a look at it.

Geez, Guys!
You need to start paying attention. If you click the "Additional Options" at the bottom the message posting window you should get an option to attach up to four files to a message.
Don't ya just love new things? ;)

It's a block mounted dizzy. I'd take a picture had I not buggered up the screen. I mean it works, but I can't see where I'm pointing it. See what I can do.
Thanks guys.
Jeremy.

I remember the ignition module wires color and destination:
BLK – ground thru 3-way connector to earth under right headlamp –not-reliable thing.
GRN and BRN - inductive sensor to module thru single 2 way connetor- second not-reliable thing.
RED – #15: RUN supply voltage to module and coil resistor
Thick GRN – #1 : -coil control
LIGHT BLUE – tachometr signal (in car blue this white stripe)
I will find module wires in 2 days and will draw normal schematics.

That's already a great help. I'm particularly interested in the three way connector near the head light. I can't find the other end so it isn't connected. From what I could tell, it had no bearing.
Thanks. Jeremy.
