arc

Well I fixed the problem with the starter now it seems there's something wrong with the ignition. There's no spark, I think right back to the coil. I've replaced the coil and module with another although you would think these would be very reliable. I checked the the cap's carbon rod, the leads are ok, rotor button and other connections are ok. There's power to the coil too. Does anyone have any ideas? Maybe I should check the module plug and wires.
Jeremy.

Check the coil pickup, most likely you need a new one as the wires inside the distributor are probably bare, frayed and or even broken, that is the most commong problem with the no spark symptom

I tried a different pick up, no change. Maybe they're both no good. Thanks. Jeremy.

Make sure your coil connections are correct too.
