Does anyone know of where I can find the torque specs for the Flaminia V-6?
I have the factory shop manual and the 3C supplement but cannot find the torque values.

Sorry, I overlooked them on one of the pages. They are listed in mkg (meter kilograms) It lists the flywheel torque specs as 5.5 mkgs which converts to 39.7 ft lbs. That sounds a bit low for flywheel bolts.

The Flaminia has a fairly substantial balancer on the nose of the crankshaft, and the clutch is not mounted on the flywheel, so the flywheel has little function other than to house the ring gear for the starter. I doubt if the flywheel has enough rotational inertia to necessitate more hold-down.

Glad you found the specs, thanks for pointing out for the rest of us. When in doubt I have in the past used generic guides such as this: http://www.dansmc.com/torque_chart.htm At least you can avoid exceeding the maximum load and risking bolt or thread failure. Of course it is hard to know the "grade" of a 50 year old bolt with no markings! Often the main thing is to make sure all the fasteners are evenly tightened, to avoid distortion. Anyway, good luck! Sounds like you are having in-depth fun there!

Dear colleagues:

I need to know the torque figure for the ball-ended nuts that hold the driving yokes to the gearbox input and the middle propshaft joint. Can anyone please post the sketch with listed torque values? it is missing from my service manual.

The various parts are illustrated in the workshop manual (page 02/3) or in the parts manual (tav 49, item 14). The "flexible coupling fork fixing nut" has a torque value of 12mkg. Don't forget it should have both a flat washer and a plate with locking tabs underneath it, so you can't retorque the nut without first bending down the tab, right?

Thanks,got it. I am reassembling the prop shaft with new flange bushings and flexible couplings, and have new tab washers to secure the nuts after tightening. Thanks again for the data.

PS, after fitting the bushings and flex couplings I took the whole shaft to "Driveline Specialists" in Virginia for balancing. Hoping this will cure the hula shake in the propshaft! Will know once I reinstall and fire it up. No road test anytime soon as we are covered in road salt here in VA right now.

Welcome everyone and happy new Year! I have a question for the experts! Flaminia 2.5 V6 cylinder head tightening torque 56 Nm based on the Internet. Is this really enough? Do you have any experience? What is the work process? Thank you very much for your answers and advice!

The shop manual says 53 mgk, resp. 52 Nm, you should follow the tightening sequence.
